Highlighting achievements across arts, tourism, food, drink, and environmental projects, the awards honour those who enhance Cumbrian life, culminating in the prestigious Cumbrian of the Year accolade. The 2026 lineup introduces two new categories: Crafted in Cumbria, highlighting artisan producers and traditional craftsmanship, and the Cumbria Life Design Award, recognizing excellence in space design.
Because winners are nominated and selected entirely by Cumbria Life readers, receiving an award represents a trusted mark of community appreciation and outstanding contribution to the region.
